Yes, the sun is out and it's blazing hot. All those unique boots that you wore in the winter have gone into hibernation. Now you're rockin' stiletto pumps and sandals.

That's cool, but who said you can't wear boots in the summer? You're probably saying, “It's too hot or people may look at me like I'm crazy.” Okay, yes! It may be hot where you live and people are going to look at you like you're crazy anyway. So why care? Depending on where you live, it may still get cool in the evenings. But even if that's not the case, you CAN wear boots in the summer. You just have to choose the right kind of boots.

Check for the boot's material (i.e. leather, suede), length (i.e. ankle, knee), and color. The best kinds of summer boots are made with canvas material. That's the material that some sneakers are made with. If you like leather boots, go shorter with a leather ankle boot. Light colors such as white and baby pink are the best choice to better reflect the sun's rays off your summer boots.

Remember to protect and keep your boots clean, especially with the lighter colored ones. Check out the boot care tips page to keep them looking like new. Your feet can stay cool and look cool with these summer boots...
